Minnesota Students

Minnesota students under the age of 18 must complete the 30 hours of classroom instruction and pass the Instructor's permit test before they begin Behind the Wheel lessons. It is illegal to practice driving without a Learner's Permit. Behind the Wheel lessons are two hours long. You should spread out your lessons during your learning period so that you can practice your driving skills between each lesson. If you need additional Behind the Wheel instruction beyond the six hours required by Minnesota law, more can be added at the $70 per hour rate.

Payment

To secure your spot in our Behind the Wheel program, you may pay the full amount now or a partial payment of $150 with the remainder due before the last two-hour session.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel a Behind the Wheel instruction session, you must give 48 hours notice by emailing heavyddriving@gmail.com. If you do not provide 48 hours notice, you will be charged a $50 fee.
